Infrastructure — Pipe Solutions
Smart cities, roads & urban utilities
How Almax pipes serve infrastructure
Highways, railways, urban utilities and smart cities all depend on reliable underground piping. Almax supplies HDPE pipes and DWC systems for stormwater, road cross-drainage, cable ducting and utility corridors — lightweight, long-lasting and inspection-ready.
Every kilometre of highway, metro rail, airport apron and smart-city road hides a network of buried polymer pipe — for stormwater drainage, cable protection, water supply, sewerage and utility conduits. HDPE and PVC pipes are specified over concrete and steel for two reasons: they don't corrode, and their fusion / gasket joints don't leak. Almax has supplied to NHAI-funded highway projects, metro rail depots, smart-city missions, airport landside works and inter-state utility corridors.
- Lightweight vs RCC alternatives
- Faster installation cycles
- Third-party inspection ready
- Long service life
Where Almax pipes are deployed
Proven use-cases across infrastructure — supplied with full BIS documentation and third-party inspection support.
Highway Cross-Drainage & Stormwater
HDPE DWC (Double Wall Corrugated) pipes SN 4 & SN 8 for highway median drains, culverts and stormwater collection systems.
Metro Rail Utility Ducts & Drainage
HDPE ducts and DWC pipes for metro depot drainage, station-level utility corridors, viaduct pier drainage and track-side cabling.
Airport Landside Water & Drainage
HDPE for potable and firewater networks; DWC for apron drainage; PLB ducts for airfield-lighting and communication cabling.
Smart-City Utility Corridors
Multi-utility trench (MUT) design uses HDPE and DWC pipes for water, sewerage, and colour-coded PLB ducts for power/data/gas.

Questions from procurement & engineering teams
Do you supply for NHAI and state highway projects?+
Yes. HDPE DWC pipes are specified in NHAI and MoRTH standard specifications for cross-drainage and median drainage. We supply directly to EPC contractors executing NHAI packages.
Are your DWC pipes suitable for buried service under highway pavement?+
Yes. SN 8 (ring stiffness 8 kN/m²) DWC pipes are rated for buried service under highway loading up to H-20 / SLR-70 vehicle standards, with adequate cover and standard backfill practice.
Can Almax handle large project schedules with staggered dispatch?+
Yes. Our 10,000 MT/year facility routinely handles 500–2,000 MT project schedules with 4–12 month dispatch phasing coordinated to site readiness.
